Savvy Caregiver is an evidence-based 6 week (2 hours each week) series that provides the non-professional caregiver with the knowledge, skills, tools and strategies to increase confidence and reduce the stress of caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s disease or other form of dementia. This series provides understanding of the progressive nature of the disease while teaching strategies for contented involvement, positivity, focusing on the moment and recognizing joy in each day.
