If you are starting a young horse or wanting to brush up on your groundwork or horsemanship our round-pen is the perfect place to do it. Securely built to ensure no outside distraction. It even has two entry/exit to points for the safe handling of wild horses.

Nervous rider or starting a young horse ? If you don't have a riding buddy and would like a companion when hacking out to ease the nerves (human and equine) then get in touch.

Pop next door and enjoy Dickson's Equine 50x30 SJ arena. Available for use between 9am-4pm Monday-Sunday (other times by arrangement). Helmets must be worn when mounted. Ride within you or your horses’ capabilities. Pick up manure (throw on bank or into the wheelbarrow) Leave jumps how you found them (no poles left lying on the sand) Report any damages. Have fun, train hard, be open to learning. Be kind to your horse, yourself, and others.

The XC has been designed by Glen Draper and is a training venue. Jump heights from wee logs to 95cm. All jumps are flagged. Some can be jumped both ways and are flagged accordingly. Please be aware of other riders, give space, be courteous and look after each other.

Bring your favourite clincian (or your favourite clients!) for your next clinic. Includes access to our 60x20m covered arena, 5 sand yards, 2 indoor stables with yards, our 20m round pen, and wash bay. Our shearing shed is available as a sit-down teaching space and for meal breaks. Please contact us for half day pricing.

If you're not riding but need a secure yard space for a day or overnight stay, we have 5 sand yards or 2 indoor stables with in-built water troughs available. Wheelbarrow and manure bins close by.
